Is The Wright Man In Charge?

The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's League One game is Kevin Wright from Cambridgeshire.

Mr Wright gave up playing football at the age of 25 after breaking his wrist for the fifth time and took up refereeing,

He has refereed City matches before and he was in the charge of the FA Cup tie last season against Arlesley Town at the Ricoh Arena. Other City games, he has been in charge of are: the City 2-1 Crystal Palace game on February 12th 2011, the 3-1 defeat at Reading on December 1st 2008., the 2-1 defeat at Leicester in October 2005 and the 1-1 with Preston at Highfield Road in November 2004.

This season, he had had twelve matches (five of which have been League One matches) and shown 35 yellows but no reds.  

His Assistants are: Ken Haycock and David Richardson. The Fourth Official is Steven Copeland
