Is The Wright Man In Charge?

The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship game against Crystal Palace on Saturday is Kevin Wright from Cambridgeshire.

Mr Wright gave up playing football at the age of 25 after breaking his wrist for the fifth time and took up refereeing.

He has had sixteen matches this season, (three in the Championship) and has shown 52 yellow cards and three red.

This will be Mr Wright's first visit as a referee for a Championship match at the Ricoh Arena.

His last City match was the 3-1 defeat at Reading on December 1st 2008. Other previous City games are the 2-1 defeat at Leicester in October 2005 and the 1-1 with Preston at Highfield Road in November 2004

The assistants are Chris Knowles from Northamptonshire & Geoff Law from Leicestershire. The Fourth Official is Rob Ellis from Birmingham.
