Danny Ireland's time at Coventry City appears to be over.
The keeper, brought to England from Australia and placed under the guidance of Steve Ogrizovic in 2007, made Reserve team and the odd U18's appearance before he took part in City's 2008 pre-season where he did well against the likes of Cambridge United and went on to make his debut against Aldershot Town in a League Cup tie in August.
However, since then, appearances for any City team have been limited through illness and injury and Ireland is expected to return to his native country when his contract expires next month.
