Coventry City have announced that keeper Danny Ireland is available for a loan.

The Australian keeper starred for City Reserves in the Pontins Reserve League last season but with no team this time round, he has not been able to play many matches.

Ireland played well in pre-season making some terrific saves against FC Brasov, Cambridge United and Livingston and was only beaten by a penalty in those three games.

With Andy Marshall then sidelined,Ireland stepped in to replaced the injured Keiran Westwood against Aldershot in the League Cup.

Nuneaton Town is one possibility as their Chairman Ian Neale and a director were at the Ricoh Arena yesterday and they are with regular keeper Darren Acton for three matches.
