International Call Up For Former Players

Former Coventry City midfielder Stephen Warnock has been called up for England's two World Cup Qualifiers against Wales and Northern Ireland. Warnock who was popular amongst the Sky Blues support during his time at Highfield Road said: "I can't quite believe it and am speechless, to be honest.
"It's brilliant and certainly goes some way towards making up for the disappointment of last season. "I've thought long and hard this summer about where I needed to improve and luckily the manager has put his faith in me from the start of the season.

Former City keeper Chris Kirkland,now on loan at West Brom is also in the squad and if he were to play,City would benefit to the tune of £250,000.
Robert Page and Richard Duffy are both expected to feature in the Welsh squad.
