International Action for City Old Boys

Three former Coventry City players were in international action on Friday night.

Aron Gunnarsson, now with Cardiff City, was back playing for Iceland after an injury and played for his country away to Portugal in a 5-3 European Championship qualifying defeat.

Robbie Keane now playing for LA Galaxy in the MLS in America, played for The Republic Of Ireland in their 2-0 win over Andorra.   Former Coventry City keeper Keiren Westwood was left off the bench and his place went to Millwall keeper David Forde.

Former City forward Craig Bellamy, played for Wales in their 2-0 win over Switzerland at Swansea. 

Michael Mifsud missed Malta's 2-0 defeat in Latvia.
