Crewe Police have said that there will be an increased police presence for Coventry City's League One game at Crewe Aleandra today.

The Police have said about the fixture which does not have a history of trouble: "You will note an increased Police presence in and around the ground and local area before, during and post match.

"This is to ensure that the minority do not spoil the occasion for the majority of supporters. Please drink and behave responsibly."

There was some problems with some Crewe 'fans' last season during the JPT Area Final which included the letting off of pyrotechnics and the police have warned that it is an offence to enter the stadium with pyrotechnics, fireworks and/or smoke flares etc and said that anyone found in possession of these items will be arrested and in most cases banning orders will be applied for if convicted.
