Coventry City Manager Mark Robins has wants City supporters to play their part in helping the Sky Blues get past Crewe Alexandra in the JPT Northern Area Final and get to Wembley.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph about tomorrow's first leg which has seen City supporters snapping up every available ticket, Mark Robins said: “I hope the atmosphere will be electric for 90 minutes.
“The fans will get behind the players and what’s important is that they stick with the team.
“It’s a great opportunity over two legs against a really good side who play good football to get to a major final at Wembley.
“We’ve sold near 30,000 for the game which shows the level of support in the club and the potential that’s there, so we have to embrace that and make sure we perform every time we go out, and certainly we’ll look forward to every single game and try to finish in the strongest position as we can.
“It’s expensive to watch the game these days and pricing has enabled a lot of people to get their tickets.
"And the way things have gone recently has been good because the lads are enjoying their football and playing good football.
“The supporters are enjoying it and they’re feeding off each other. We have to make sure we take on that challenge and pressure on the players every game, and that’s something that will be interesting for me to watch to see how people cope. It will be a good marker.”
