Coventry City defender Richard Wood has said that he has been talking to Andy Thorn and playing more games for the Sky Blues. .
Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner, Wood admitted that he had been speaking to City boss Andy Thorn and said: "I have spoken to him and speak to him nearly every day so he knows that i want to be playing.
"I am sure everyone else is the same, having words with him and wanting to play because that is the whole point of being a footballer.
"I was pleased to get 90 minutes and start against Chesterfield because I have been getting the same amount as everyone one else, so it was good to play and get through it.
"It was another step up from the games we have been having and I think we are gradually getting there as a team. We just need to peak a week on Saturday against Leicester. There are still bits to sort out as a team and we need to iron a few things out but everything is good so far.
"I have just got to keep working hard in training and doing the right things, doing what I know I can do and we'll see what happens."
