"I spoke to the manager a couple of weeks ago and he's very forward thinking and positive", the 24 year old Irishman said to Sky Blue Player.
"He's been successful wherever he's been and I know he wants to be even more successful at Coventry so I think I am signing at the right time for the club.
"I like to think I'm quick and a goal threat and I'm definitely hungry for it so I'm champing at the bit to work as hard as I can to help the team."
