Newly appointed Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that being at Coventry City is a an opportunity that he could not pass up.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Robins said: "I'm delighted. Absolutely delighted. Great opportunity and there's certainly a lot to do. But it's a great opportunity and one that I could not pass on.
Robins has been working for the Premier League and said: "I've been working for them for the last four or five months. Plenty of work on there, keeping busy and obviously a great opportunity for us.
"I was looking to do the job I was doing with the Premier League which was good and it had been great there is a lot of good work going on there. When the opportunity came to come and speak to these people, it was too good to turn down.
"I'm probably looked at as a firefighter but we did more than that at Rotherham and hoping to do more than that Barnsley and certainly its a great job. If we can turn things round here, it will be fantastic.
"Everybody has financial problems don't they. Obviously last night's result did not help but there is a clean slate for everybody and we start tomorrow."
