Coventry City Manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that he was pleased with a point at Doncaster Rovers, despite his side leading for most of the match.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Boothroyd said: "We had a bit of adversity before kick off because we thought Keiren Westwood might make it which turned out not to be the case but Michael Quirke has come in and been outstanding on his full debut,

"On elementary mistake has cost us two points but in all it was a good performance and I was really pleased with long periods of the game.

"The boys are obviously disappointed but I'm pleased with the faact that we got a point because losing two goalkeepers in one game you wonder when things are going to even themselves out for you so it weas good to see the boys have a good go.

"Freddy got on the scoresheet, Lukas has rattled the bar from close range and I thought we looked alot more potent tonight, we looked like we were going to score.

"We just want to get points on the board now though because we've had a horrendous run, we're not daft. There's lots of reasons for that run but that's the past and the importance is the here and now which is Hull on Saturday."
