Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that he was pleased with his team coming back to snatch a point from the 2-2 draw at Watford which moves City up to third in the Championship table.

Speaking to the Sporting Life after the game at Vicarage Road, the City manager said: "I'm pleased for the fans because they feel like it's a win, and I'm pleased very, very much for me after the last couple of days.

"You lose Keiren Westwood to a family bereavement, you bring in Iain Turner, he gets a concussion and I'm thinking 'whatever's next'?

"At one point I thought it was going to be 3-0 or 4-0, but we managed to get a foothold in the game, grind our way back in it and in the end we could have won it quite easily - Scott Loach has made a terrific save from Michael Doyle and that's what football's like. You've got to stay in it all the way through."
