Richard Keogh has said he enjoying life at Coventry City.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player at the club's weekly press conference, Keogh said: "The fans here have been absolutely fantastic, not just with me but with everything because I think they are really buying in to what the manager is trying to build here.

"I love coming back to play at the Ricoh Arena because there is a real buzz here and that's been down to the fans who have been great.

"I'm really enjoying playing for Coventry City and I'm really enjoying my football at the minute.

"I love playing football and sometimes you can get a bit over-enthusiastic and you always want to get up the pitch and score but sometimes I have to remember that's not my first job.

"The manager has been working with me try and reign it in at times and try to manage the game a bit more because ultimately that will benefit the whole team.

"It's just great to have a quality 'keeper like Keiren Westwood behind you who reads the game so well and gets the ball out to you quickly and to be playing on the right with Aron Gunnarsson means we do have that ability to turn defence into attack very quickly so now it's just about balancing that with defensive responsibilities."

Speaking about Saturday's visit of Leeds, Keogh said:
"I played against them four times with Carlisle last season so I've had a fair bit of practice against them.

"They have some great players in Howson, Snodgrass, Becchio and Grabel so I'm looking forward to seeing a few of them again this weekend."
