New Coventry City coach Steve Taylor has said that he is looking to working alongside Mark Robins yet again.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player's Nick Connoll, Taylor, a former Derby player and Rams Academy Coach said about Mark Robins who was appointed as the new City boss on Wednesday by Tim Fisher and Steve Waggott: "We first met through our wives in Spain and we have been very good friends, he is superb to work with and we work closely together.

"I had 20 years coaching experience at Derby County before I joined Mark at Rotherham, moving with him to Barnsley and now Coventry and working with him is great and I'm looking forward to that continuing.

"I also played against Mark when I was at Derby and he was at Manchester United and I scored against them on one particular day but we don't tend to mention that too much anymore."
