I'm Feeling Loved - Leon

Coventry City striker Leon Best has said that he is happy being loved by the fans.

A small minority had booed last season's Covsupport News Service Young Player Of The Year Best at home games but all that has been long forgotten as the striker has put in a number of massive performances for the Sky Blues.

"It is great to hear the fans singing my name again," said Best who scored the winning goal against Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night to the CT.

"It really lifts me. "The first statement I made about them when they were giving me a bit of stick was that there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and I think it is coming now and they are showing their love, so I need to show my love back.

"I feel I have definitely turned it round and that makes me feel better as a person. "They are wearing the masks as well - it's all love isn't it! Feel the love!"

When Best was asked if the mask he wears to protect his face after a fractured cheekbone sustained during a brave performance at Queens Park Rangers has had, he replied: "That's my secret.

"But as long as I keep scoring I am not going to take it off and I am going to start colouring it in soon."
