Lee Carsley has said that Coventry City still hold his playing registration and he would play once more for the Sky Blues if required.
Carsley, now a coach with the Coventry City Academy, whose U18 team have come through an unbeaten pre-season thanks to a 3-0 victory against Everton yesterday, told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire that if he was needed to play for Andy Thorn's team, which has been hit by injuries and a lack of funding from the board for new players, he would do.
