Coventry City latest loanee Oliver Norwood has said that although his aim is to get into the Manchester United first team, he will do everything he can for Coventry City whilst he is here.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player at the club’s weekly press conference, Norwood said: "It's been great seeing Tom (Cleverly) doing so well, it's great for any young kid at Manchester United as it gives you hope that the chance might come around for you. I hope it does and I have to be ready when that chance comes.
"Sir Alex Ferguson uses the loan system well and it gives the young players at the club first-team football which is very important at this stage in our career.
"When you look at the amount of lads who have played for Manchester United and now play in the Premier League or in the Championship, it is very encouraging knowing that it gives you a chance of having a good career; whether it be with United or not.
“I’m really pleased that I have been offered the chance to play here and I want to get into the manager's side. I'm just concentrating on giving my all for Coventry but that is the main goal for me. I just want to get in the first team squad and give my all for Coventry."
