Marlon King has said that he will give his all for Coventry City whilst he is at the club.

The striker is out of contract at the end of the season and had the Board trying to loan him out to Cardiff City to save on his wages for the last weeks of the season.

However, the transfer embargo meant he was going nowhere and King has committed himself to the Sky Blues by saying to the CT: "Obviously Cardiff wanted to do something but nothing was done and I am still here and I will continue to give 110 per cent until I am told otherwise.

"It was good to be back and even better to get three points and a clean sheet on Saturday.

"It was nice to play against my old club where I have a lot of fond memories but the most important things was to get back on the field and try to help the lads get the win and that's what we did.

"We knew Saturday was going to be a tough game because Watford are good on the road and a difficult team to play against but I thought we conducted ourselves well, got a good start and never looked back really.

"And now we have got to kick on for the rest of the season.

"It was refreshing to leave the Ricoh not just with three points but also a really good team performance. We could have scored a lot more.

"I had a couple of chances and we had a couple disallowed but we got a clean sheet and we want to take that into the Derby game, which is going to be a tough game, because it was important we got a win and now we have to build on that.

"There hasn't been much to boast about over the last six weeks but hopefully the fans went away with smiles on their faces.

"This season is not finished yet and every game is going to be tough but we want to continue to give the supporters something to smile about home and away."
