I'd Have Taken A Draw - Coleman

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman was pretty scathing of his team's performance at Torquay United this afternoon.

City scraped a 1-0 win against the Conference side and Coleman said after the match to the media: : "In the second half we were outplayed and outfought in many departments and Torquay deserved a lot more than they got out of the game.

"I don't know about three minutes from time but 20 minutes from time I would have been happy with a replay.

"I don't think their 'keeper Bevan had a save to make in the second half, until the goal went in.

"We had a lot of travelling fans here and they might have thought we were going to breeze it. We were never going to do that, Torquay are a good team with a good manager who knows what he is doing. Tactically they are astute.

"We knew it would be hard, we knew it would be tough - and sapping. "Hats off to Paul Buckle and his team, I thought they were magnificent today.

"We sneaked through to the next round and that's all I care about.

"Now I would like a home draw because we are only one game away from the quarter-finals."
