I Wouldn't Rule Coventry Out Of Anything - Moore

Tranmere Rovers boss Ronnie Moore has said that he would not rule Coventry City out of anything and still expects them to be around the play-offs/promotion at the end of the season.

Moore is quoted by the CT as saying; "Was it wise to sack their manager when they did?

“If you are going to do that I would have thought they’d have done it at the end of last season. To give him three games, undefeated, and then do it is one of those things that shows how crazy football is.

“But I still think that with the right guidance and the right person in charge that Coventry are going to be a threat.

“We knew when this fixture came up it was going to be a difficult game and nothing has changed my mind. This will be one of the hardest games we have this season. If we are not at our best we will get beaten.

“Come the end of the season I don’t think Coventry will be too far off the promotion places. The best is yet to come from them and I wouldn’t rule Coventry out of anything.”
