Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that he won't be giving his players any special instructions about how to handle Robbie Savage tonight which City take on Derby County at Pride Park.

Chris Coleman knows all about the Leicester loving Savage from his playing days and told the CT: "Opposition players and supporters have always given Robbie a lot of stick but if you're in the same dressing room you like him.

"I've known him for a long time and off the pitch he's a nice boy, great company.

"And he's made a good living out of football by sticking to what he does best - he gives it everything he's got for 90 minutes, he gets about the pitch, he upsets people and he's not bad on the ball either.

"He likes the opposition to react but I would love to be on the pitch getting stuck in against him and that's what I'll be telling the lads.

"Yes, he's got players sent off before but I won't be giving my players any special instructions about how to handle him.

"I certainly won't be saying anything to Isaac Osbourne - and he wants to be careful if he tries to wind up Ossie, I'll tell you that!"

City supporters can pay on the gate tonight.
