Coventry City forward Clive Platt has said that he would like to stay at the club next season.

Platt is out of contract on June 30th and speaking to Sky Blue Player at the club’s weekly press conference, he said: "It has been a good season for me despite having that injury, so I am happy with the way I am playing at the moment.

"My contract is up at the end of the season and I have mentioned it to the gaffer. I think we are going to wait until the season is over and then we can get it sorted out.

"He needs to decide what he can and can't do. Obviously, I am very happy here and I would love to stay here.

"I have come back to the Midlands to set up home again and this is where I want to stay. It is important for my family life and I couldn't think of a better football club to be at. I love it here."
