Coventry City manager Steven Pressley felt his side were really good in the second half of their 2-1 defeat against Cardiff City.
Pressley told Sky Sports: We started with a little trepidation.
"We have quite an inexperienced side in certain respects but we were a little bit nervous and we didn't get the balanced with staying and pressing.
"I thought we were really good in the second half though, and we gave a really good showing.
"We had by far the better opportunities and lost the second goal during our best period of the game.
"We gave ourselves a chance and there were lots of positives, but I don't want to be the team who I compliment every week but don't win games.
"We had three academy debutants which is wonderful - I'm excited by a lot of things - but I think there were definitely some areas in which we need to improve."
