Coventry City striker Denzel Slager has said that he needs to train hard to get his fitness levels up in order to be playing every week.
The signing from Holland, who was a substitute in the defeat to Leyton Orient on Tuesday night, told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I think once I get my fitness levels up and get used to the style of play I will play every week for this club.
“It’s up to me to do that and I know I need to train very hard to achieve it.”
