Coventry City's new signing Marcus Tudgay has said that he hopes he can strike up a partnership with Shaun Miller.
The pair played up front for the first half of City's 1-0 defeat at Newport County and speaking to Nick Connoll, the striker, who joined City on a one year deal said: "It was good to play with Shaun Miller tonight and I'm hoping we can strike up a partnership which can replicate what Leon Clarke and Callum Wilson did here last season.
"You need every player in the squad to be pushing themselves to become better and the best way to do that is with competition, so it would be good to see more strikers come into the club. The more, the merrier."
