I Feel Good Again - Martin

Last updated : 14 March 2016 By CNS Staff

Coventry City defender Arron Martin has said that he feels good again.

Martin, has a fine game against Blackpool and scored at Shrewsbury and played very in two U21 fixtures after coming back from an ankle injury and speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, he said: “I tore some of the fibres off the ligaments in my right ankle.

“It was so frustrating because I felt I was doing well and the team was doing well at that time.

“It’s the same every time you’re out injured – if the gaffer feels he has to bring people in then he has to and it’s just a fight to get your place back.

“But football changes very quickly and the older and more mature you become the more you realise that, and I knew if I got my head down and worked hard that I’d get myself back in.

“I have got myself fit and I feel good again and can hopefully stay in the team until the end of the season now.”
