Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he has come to Coventry to build a football club.

Pressley who said at the Fans Forum, that there is no complacancy and he and the players will do everything he can to bring success to the club, said: "I have not got everything right at this football club. I am honest and open about that.

"One area that had to be improved was the recruitment and when I joined, there was no recruitment structure in place and we had one scout.

"I came here to build a football club and that does not happen over night. We have a chief scout and six regional scouts working very hard, That did not happen over night, that happened during the course of the season."

Pressley's assistant Neil MacFarlane said: A number of signings did not work out. That is prior to Janaury and the loan signing and being under embargo. We could only bring in Andy Webster and Mathieu Manset due to the embargo. Manset did not work out but Webster did."
