Hutchison who has made six appearances for the Sky Blues scoring three goals including a stunner at Leeds United, had his contract cancelled by the South Londoners and was allowed to leave.
Micky Adams told the club website: "Don has made a terrific contribution to the team since he joined us and we hope that can continue until the end of the season. "He's not only demonstrated that he's a talented player, but also that he's a great individual to have around the place. He has a positive influence on the squad and never gives less than 100% in training."
