Hughes Joins Sky Blues

A depleted squad of 16 City players with first team experience. reported back to training this morning after the summer break.

The players who were present included Bjarni Gudjonsson and were joined by the former Arsenal and Everton midfielder Stephen Hughes who has signed a one year contract with City after being released by Charlton Athletic.

His stats are 63 league games with 33 sub appearances since 1995 and a scoring ratio of 0.05 goals a game and he's played for Arsenal, Fulham, Everton, Watford and Charlton with Everton paying £3 million for him from Arsenal.

The player who hails from Wokingham was joined by David Weatherall and Brian Deane who both could be included in the tour of Germany if they impresses Peter Reid and Adrian Heath.
