Hughes Coming To Play For Cov?

Coventry City are expected to sign former Crystal Palace midfielder Michael Hughes. The Northern Irish international is out of contract and is in Coventry for a medical with a view to signing a one year deal.

The 35 year old has played for Manchester City, Strasbourg, West Ham United, Wimbledon, Birmingham and Palace with over seventy caps for Northern Ireland.

Hughes had been linked with a move to Coventry when Iain Dowie was appointed as manager.
