Nuneaton Town kept up their push for promotion from the Conference North with a 2-1 victory over Workington at Liberty Way.

Wright put the Cumbrians ahead in the 20th minute but four minutes into the second half, Moore levelled.

In the 88th minute, York snatched the winner to move Nuneaton in to sixth place, one below the play-off places.

In the Southern League, Leamington beat Cambridge City 4-2 in front of a crowd of 631. Hammond put the visitors ahead in the third minute but three minutes later, David Kolodynski levelled. Hammond out Cambridge back in front in the 15th minute before Hood levelled in the 36th minute to see it 2-2 at the break.

In the second half, two goals from Blyth in the 47th and 69th minute, gave Leamington the win.

In the Southern League Central Division, Bedworth United were beaten 4-1 at home by Uxbridge. Former Coventry City and Coventry Sphinx player Tom Bates scored for the Greenbacks in the 28th minute.

Rugby Town lost 4-0 at home to Ashford Town (Middlesex)

In the Midland Alliance which is now headed by Coventry Sphinx, Stratford Town won 1-0 at Bridgnorth and Atherstone beat Ellesmere Rangers 3-2.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Nuneaton Griff drew 3-3 with Pilkington, Racing Club Warwick drew 1-1 Continental Star and Southam United beat Pershore Town 5-0.

In Division One, Alvis beat Hampton 4-0.

In Division Two, Young Warriors beat Leamington Hibernian 6-0 at Coventry Sphinx FC, FC Stratford drew 2-2 with Barton.
