Coventry City Associate Director Gary Hoffman has said that he was surprised when Leonard Brody announced at the club's Press Conference on Wednesday that the club were not for sale.

This statement appears to be the complete opposite and Mr Hoffman told the CT: "I'm surprised that the new guy, who is based in America, has said that the club is not for sale when Sisu has encouraged board members and associate directors, of which I am one, to try to find investors.

"We need investors who are capable of investing on the pitch and off the pitch. The most important thing is to be able to buy the stadium.

"Sisu originally set out to do this but haven't had the money or relationships to do so. Despite their best intentions they have not been able to move forward on this in the last three years. If that does not change, and I see no sign of it happening yet, then we need to find different investors who are capable of buying the Ricoh Arena.

"All Coventry fans, including me, are frustrated by that. That's why I am talking to potential investors who can either help Sisu or replace them."
