According to a poll on the Coventry Telegraph site, 97.5% of those who have so far responded want Gary Hoffman to run the club.
The poll appeared after yesterday's news that 'Mr Coventry' Joe Elliott had stepped aside from his role as Life President and that Gary Hoffman's bids to acquire the club had been rejected, something which angered many fans.
This has also sparked the setting up of Facebook groups and the like calling for a change in the people running the club and the demanding of those capable of giving the club which is currently losing £0.5m a month, a long term future, the chance to do so.
The current club owners SISU, who were slammed today by former City Chairman Geoffrey Robinson, are to put their take on things via the current board in tomorrow's paper.
