The Highfield Group, which has issued a statement saying that it wants to raise £3m in order to buy Coventry City and save the club had so far raised £136.

Whilst many people have labelled the plan to raise £3m in fifty days as "a scam" or said that "SISU would never accept £3m", some people from as far away as Canada have contributed and the total last night stood at £136.

So far, no-one from the group which wants to offer 'transparency between the fans and the club', has come forward to either ourselves or any other sections of the media to confirm that this is a serious bid for the club and that they do have proof of funds to show that they can maintain a League One club playing in Coventry.
