According to the Coventry Telegraph, the agent of Tony Hibbert has denied any link with Coventry City.
One internet site had come up with the name of the 35 year old former Everton player who is without a contract and linked it with City.
However, the Coventry Telegraph have said: "But the Telegraph now understands that Hibbert, 35, is currently on holiday in Dubai and, according to the player's agent, there is "no truth" in speculation linking him with a move to the Ricoh."
City boss Russell Slade has said that he is looking for players with experience to help the Sky Blues try and get away from the collision course with relegation to League Two.
