Henderson: It Wasn't To Be

Coventry City striker Darius Henderson said that it wasn't to be as his shot in the dying seconds was pushed over the bar for a corner and meant that the Sky Blues drew 0-0 with Swindon Town.

Henderson told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “We almost snatched it at the death.

“The keeper got a good hand to it; it would probably have been better if I had scuffed it. However, it wasn’t to be.

“It was a very quick game and I thought we passed the ball well and there are a lot of positives to take from the game. We’re disappointed we didn’t get the three points but we move on to Friday and the game at Peterborough.

“I will continue to work hard, as I have done all my career. It’s a good group of lads here and I am enjoying every minute.”
