Former Coventry City players Jordan Henderson and Danny Sturridge have been sent back to their clubs.
The pair who both scored for Stuart Pearce's team against Denmark on Thursday night, are two of five players who have been rested by the England U21 boss for the game against Iceland at Preston North End on Monday.
