Heath Wants Time

Adrian Heath had admitted that himself and Peter Reid want time to do the job they have started.

The City assistant manager told the CET: “I think one or two people were surprised when he came to Coventry but the pair of us really enjoy it here and are looking forward to going into the new stadium because we have seen how a football club can be transformed with what went on at Sunderland.

“It might take a bit of time because of the financial situation but there could be good times ahead. “The pressure is off until next weekend but that’s the nature of the game.

"You have to win football matches and we probably haven’t won enough. But we have only been here a short period of time and for us to put a team together to get out of this division is going to take time when you are in our situation.

“So let’s hope we get that time because the manager has taken teams out of this division and knows what it is all about, but it takes time and if we get it we will be OK.”
