Adrian Heath is out of the running for the vacant managers job at Stoke City.
The assistant to Micky Adams is a self confessed Stokie and the choice of many Potters fans.

However, Stoke's board have opted to go for former boss Tony Pullis who is currently in charge of Plymouth Argyle but has reluctantly been allowed to speak to the Staffordshire club by the Pilgrims.

Ronnie Moore has been appointed the new manager of Tranmere Rovers and one of his first games will be against the Sky Blues on Wednesday July 26th. Moore was formerly at Oldham and Rotherham United.
