Heath Now Favourite

Adrian Heath has moved in the number one slot for the vacant manager's job at Highfield Road.

Heath who made a brief but welcome appearance at City Reserves game with Leicester, has the backing of the players and already being on the pay-roll at a cash conscious club may be to his advantage.

However, he is not the popular choice amongst supporters polling very low shares of votes on this site and ICCoventry websites.

Micky Adams who is the fans favourite according to the same poll is expected to bring Trevor Peake to the club. Adams is a long time friend of the City legend and put Peake in charge of the Academy during his hellish time as Leicester manager.

Others to be linked include Yeovil boss Gary Johnson and Bristol Rovers boss Ian Atkins who watched an hour of the reserves game at Nuneaton last night.
