Former Coventry City defender Matt Heath has extended his contract at Northampton Town.
Heath joined Aidy Boothroyd's side on an initial non-contract basis after he was released by Colchester United at the end of last season.
However, the centre half has impressed during his three appearances and has signed a deal until January.
