According to reports, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has turned down interest from Coventry City about becoming their new manager.
Hasselbaink, had been linked with the job, but appears not to want to be involved with a club said by Micky Quinn "to be on its arse".
Mark Venus is expected to take the team for Thursday night's game against Sheffield United, although with supporters having told the former Leicester player and Otium Director to get out of the club, letting Nicky Eaden take the team for Thursday night would seem a more sensible option.
