Michael McIndoe has said that he is happy to have joined Coventry City.

The reported £350k signing from Bristol City signed a two year deal and told the club website: "I'm just delighted to be here.

"It was very easy to sell the club to me to be honest. The club has a very good manager and a good tight knit group of players, good training facilities and a fantastic ground.

"The club is ex-Premier League and looking to get back there in the next 18 months two years so I hope I can bring an additional bit of flair and pace and help the lads in terms of improving on last season's finish.

"I want to progress with Coventry City.

"Some people don't look favourably on a smaller squad but from my point of view sometimes it can offer you something a bigger squad can't.

"I've come here and joined a close squad of tight-knit players and a close group promotes a bit more togetherness and camaraderie. Look at Burnley last season who were promoted with the smallest squad in the Championship.

"I already know a couple of the lads like Freddy Eastwood from our time at Wolves and Clinton Morrison and the lads all seem top notch.

"Everything about this move seems to have just fallen into place. In a way it just feels right."
