The youngster, who has been at City for ten years and worked his way through City's Academy system, was running for a ball in the 26th minute for City's friendly at Wrexham this afternoon and felt his left hamstring pop.
He left the ground on crutches and will see City's medical staff over the coming days to ascertain any damage.
