Hadji's Morocco Off To The World Cup

Morocco, who have former Coventry City player Mustapha Hadji, as their assistant coach, are off to the 2018 World Cup Finals in Russia.

Morocco needed a draw away to the Ivory Coast but won 2-0 to book their place in the tournament next summer.


Cov kid and former City defender Cyrus Christie played for the Republic Of Ireland in their World Cup Play-Off away to Denmark who had former City loanee Kasper Schmeichel in goal.


Amongst the former City players on target today were former City youngsters Lewis Rankin who scored twice and Craig Reid who scored for Coventry United in a 6-0 FA Vase win at Quorn.
