Last week Coventry City's Icelandic midfielder Aron Gunnarsson shaved off his dodgy moustache because his girlfriend said it made him look like a German porn star, but he kept his equally dodgy mullet hair style.
Gunnarsson admits he gets ribbed because of the mullet, but he doesn't mind at all because he believes is raises team morale.
He said: "The German porn star look has gone for good because my missus just wasn't happy about it, but I'll keep the mullet, even though I get loads of stick for it. It's caused plenty of banter and it's lifted the lads. I don't mind being the butt of a few jokes if it helps team spirit."
Whether the mullet had any influence in Coventry City equaliser at The Riverside on Saturday is open to debate, but the goal was Gunnarsson's first for his club this season and was enough to earn a point from a ground where Coventry have never won.
