Gunnarsson Replaced Again

Coventry City's Aron Gunnarson was substituted for the second match in succession by Iceland boss Olafur Johannesson.

The midfielder was replaced in the 63rd minute of Iceland's 2-1 defeat by Scotland. Kirk Broadfoot and Barry Robson netted the goals for George Burley and Stephen Pressley's side. Eidar Gunjohnsen scored for Iceland.

Michael Mifsud played the whole ninety minutes for Malta in a 3-0 defeat to Albania in Tirana. Erion Bogdani,Klodian Duro and Arrmand Dellku got the goals.

A number of City supporters were in Zagreb to watch England beat Croatia 4-1. One time City loan target Theo Walcott hit a hat-trick with a rare international goal from Wayne Rooney.

Wales lost 2-1 in Russia with Joe Ledley on the scoresheet. The game was watched in the Sky Sports studio by Chris Coleman.
