Former Coventry City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson played for Iceland against Austria in Saint Denis, Paris in their final Euro 2016 group game.

A Gunnarsson throw led to Iceland taking a 19th minute lead through Bodvarsson but in the 36th minute, Austria were awarded a penalty which they missed.

On the hour mark, a cracking goal by Schopf had the Austrians level but  in stoppage time, a goal from Traustason sent Iceland into the Round Of Sixteen where they will face England.
