Gray Denies Stephen Gateley Jokes

Sheffield Wednesday's Michael Gray has hit back at allegations that he made a sick joke about Stephen Gately whilst Coventry City's Aron Gunnarsson was being carried off during the game which Wednesday won 2-0.

Said Gray to the Sheffield Wednesday official club website: "Anyone who knows me knows that I would not conduct myself in that way.

"I find it disappointing that another player would suggest that I made those kind of comments. The words that have been published are misleading and way off the mark and I dismiss them completely."
